The Procurement Planning Specialist is tasked with enhancing the efficiency of the company's purchasing operations, ensuring timely acquisition of goods, and upholding a streamlined inventory strategy. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments to predict demand and manage stock levels effectively to satisfy customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and demand forecasting, along with expertise in supply chain logistics. Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the purchasing workflow and oversee data management for item setup
  • Evaluate sales trends to anticipate inventory requirements and formulate stocking strategies
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure effective handling of goods
  • Track inventory levels and initiate reorders as needed
  • Compile comprehensive inventory reports and address any discrepancies
  • Stay informed about product developments and aid in the implementation of new inventory protocols
  • Execute additional tasks as required
