Civil Engineer Overview

As a Civil Engineer at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will collaborate with project teams to develop land planning solutions for our diverse clientele, including commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. Your role will encompass various projects, from urban redevelopment to educational facilities.


Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Design site layouts and grading plans.
  • Implement stormwater management systems and water quality best practices.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the regulatory review process and assist in the bidding and construction phases.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • E.I.T. or F.E. certification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in commercial real estate site design is advantageous.
