Position Overview

Hudson Prince Engineering and Inspection, PLLC specializes in providing civil engineering consultancy across various states, focusing on both pre-construction and construction phases. Our mission is to address the challenges faced by the civil engineering sector by delivering innovative solutions. We are currently in search of a skilled Transportation Project Manager to enhance our design capabilities.

Position Title: Transportation Project Manager

Location: Oklahoma/Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production planning while collaborating with Project Engineers and Design Technicians on diverse transportation initiatives, including State Highways, City Streets, and County and Tribal roadways.
  • Design responsibilities encompass roadway geometry, typical and cross sections, erosion control measures, drainage design documentation, traffic management, and signage.
  • Engage in tasks related to the creation of comprehensive construction documents, including drafting, quantity calculations, specifications, and cost assessments.
  • Manage project timelines and task scheduling for the design team.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Interact with clients to ensure project alignment.
  • Conduct quality reviews of project outputs.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings with clients.
  • Assist in proposal development and coordination efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oklahoma.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience with ODOT is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer software.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Knowledge of AASHTO highway and traffic publications.
  • Understanding of the MUTCD.
  • Experience with OTA and county-level design projects.
