Position Summary
The Operations Specialist will oversee a range of financial and administrative responsibilities within the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance and Accounting Operations:
    • Oversee the processing of invoices.
    • Investigate payment histories and resolve billing inquiries, serving as the primary contact for vendor payment issues.
    • Manage the organization and payment of utility bills, conducting necessary research and follow-up on invoices requiring redirection.
    • Assist the division Director of Finance with commission calculations, utilizing commission software as needed.
    • Respond to sales and closing reporting requests from local groups or agencies, including tax advisors.
    • Conduct ad hoc sales and marketing analyses.
  • Escrow Management:
    • Manage and assist with all properties currently in escrow.
    • Monitor current dates and make adjustments in Sales software.
    • Modify pricing and change orders as necessary in Sales software.
    • Communicate with lenders and realtors to ensure timely closings and assist with necessary changes.
    • Coordinate with title companies.

Managerial Responsibility: This role does not include supervision of other employees.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience; experience in homebuilder operations and Newstar is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members.
  • Resourceful and self-sufficient, capable of navigating challenges independently.

Compensation: The expected base salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience and skillset. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on divisional and individual performance.
