Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Home Health and Hospice Scheduler to join our team at A Hug Away Healthcare, Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WellSky/Kinnser software and a strong background in healthcare operations. This role involves scheduling patient visits, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the efficient operation of our home health and hospice services.

Key Responsibilities:Scheduling:
  • Schedule and coordinate patient visits for home health and hospice care, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and staff availability.
  • Manage and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in patient needs and staff availability.
Coordination:
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure timely and accurate communication of schedule changes.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure patient care plans are followed.
Software Management:
  • Utilize WellSky/Kinnser software for scheduling and documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records within the system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to scheduling software.
Qualifications:Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scheduler in a home health or hospice setting.
  • Proficiency with WellSky/Kinnser software is required.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and coding is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
