Ameresco is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to enhance our Operations Team.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: First Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and diagnose HVAC systems, commercial refrigeration, and boiler room equipment.
  • Perform essential equipment readings for operational efficiency, maintenance history, and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of boilers, burners, chillers, HVAC systems, and related controls.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment.
  • Deliver clear, precise, and customer-oriented verbal and written communication.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols as per company and industry regulations.
  • Carry out additional tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of a Trade School or Vocational High School program.
  • Possession of a valid HVAC License from Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification in Types II and III CFC.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Universal CFC Certification is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, steam, hot water, DDC, refrigeration, and building safety equipment.
  • Ability to follow safety codes and perform work in line with industry standards.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical plans and manuals.
  • Strong focus on quality and customer service.
