RAYUS Radiology is dedicated to transforming the field of radiology by making it an essential part of the diagnostic and treatment process. We are currently seeking a Breast Care Coordinator to enhance our breast care program.

Role Overview:

The Breast Care Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing both technical and administrative assistance to our breast care services. This full-time position operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and involves engaging with patients and supporting radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative and Technical Support (70%):

  • Manage incoming breast care inquiries and schedule patient appointments efficiently.
  • Oversee daily schedules to ensure smooth operational workflows.
  • Prepare and dispatch patient correspondence, including letters and notifications.
  • Handle the management of imaging films and CDs within the department.
  • Utilize the EMR system to track patient workflows, pending cases, and follow-ups.
  • Input orders for diagnostic follow-ups in the EMR system.
  • Coordinate prior imaging records for patients scheduled for appointments.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team on risk assessment procedures.
  • Document biopsy results in the EMR system.
  • Assist technologists in maintaining MQSA credentials.
  • Follow up with radiologists regarding pending examinations.

2. Patient Support (25%):

  • Communicate screening mammography results to patients.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide necessary follow-up.
  • Schedule and follow up with patients undergoing biopsies.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and the clinical team during the examination process.

3. Additional Responsibilities (5%):

Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall function of the breast care program.
