Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative and Technical Support:
    • Manage breast care schedules to ensure efficient workflows
    • Prepare patient letters, including printing, proofing, folding, and mailing
    • Handle films and CDs coming in and out of the department
    • Manage EMR dashboard for patient workflow, pending patients, and follow-up
    • Enter orders in EMR for diagnostic follow-up patients
    • Manage prior imaging for scheduled patients
    • Work with clinical team on risk assessments
    • Enter biopsy results in EMR
    • Assist technologists with MQSA credentials
    • Follow up with radiologists on pending exams
  • Patient Support:
    • Call patients with screening mammography results
    • Return patient phone calls with follow-up as appropriate
    • Schedule biopsy patients and call biopsy patients the next day for follow-up
    • Act as a liaison between team and patients waiting for exams
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the team
