Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer to enhance our operations. This role involves overseeing plant initiatives aimed at optimizing costs and boosting production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing mechanical systems.
  • Managing project budgets and ensuring the safety and reliability of utilities.
  • Promoting initiatives that lead to cost reductions.
  • Monitoring energy and labor expenditures.
  • Supervising intricate installations and maintenance tasks.
  • Acting as a liaison with local, state, and federal agencies, including fire departments.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 35 years of experience in Facilities or Plant Engineering or a related field.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mechanical Code, NFPA codes, and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with utilities such as Steam Generation, Air Compressors, Vacuum Pumps, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Electrical Distribution Networks.
