About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Test Equipment Engineering team at Raytheon. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex engineering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with program managers, chief engineers, and other functional management to drive results and achieve program objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced STEM degree and three (3) years' prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems in desktop and server environments.
  • Experience with financial reporting activities, including Cost Account Management (CAM).
  • Experience leading efforts as a program manager, IPTL, sub-IPTL, REA, and/or project team lead.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • DoD Level II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, CySA+, etc.).
  • Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.
  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System or similar budget tracking system).
  • Experience with Raytheon proposal capture process (development of compliant Basis of Estimates, and White Sheet Development), Estimate at Complete (EAC) process, and Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) System.
  • Excellent customer service and training skills, including oral and written technical communications, strong Excel skills, an understanding of hardware/software issues, and an independent problem-solving ability.
