Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Vendor Manager to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our Global Technology Services (GTS) team, you will be responsible for managing complex IT vendor relationships and ensuring the effective governance of outsourced contracts.

About the Role

This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of IT vendor management and service delivery. You will work closely with our IT delivery and relationship management functions, as well as with partners in Global Procurement Services, Third Party Risk Management, Legal, and Finance. Your primary focus will be on establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement in vendor governance and performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of IT vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and related service improvement plans.
  • Leading governance and business performance meetings to drive vendor performance and service excellence.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Risk, and Operations Teams to ensure compliance with State Street's strategy and continuous improvement of Vendor Governance.
  • Regularly reviewing opportunities for automation across the Vendor Practice and Vendor landscape as a whole.
  • Supporting delivery leads and executive management in GTS in their management of vendors at a strategic and tactical level.
  • Facilitating coordinated efforts to manage overall spend with vendors in concert with all relevant stakeholders.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Business, or a relevant subject.
  • At least 10 years' experience in account or contractor management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in IT Vendor Management/Performance - Service Management.
  • Experience managing large-scale vendor transitions for technology teams and developing, implementing, and executing multi-Vendor improvement programs.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in multiple geographies, Technology Vendor Management within global Financial Services, and management of Outsourced Contracts frameworks and SLA Management, including developing and negotiating SLAs, is highly desirable.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
