Claims Processing Specialist II

Position: Claims Processing Specialist II
This role involves managing incoming and outgoing communications while efficiently directing leads to the relevant parties. You will utilize a computerized system for tracking and collecting information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle routine inbound and outbound communications and/or electronic inquiries, directing leads to the correct parties.
- Apply general product knowledge to process electronic mitigation requests and incoming customer inquiries to generate Claims Capture Unit (CCU) leads for assigned franchises.
- Communicate with franchises via phone to relay claim details and manage accepted leads.
- Conduct outbound communications with franchisees, insurance representatives, and policyholders regarding mitigation services.
- Address disputes related to franchise lead fees.
- Ensure that switchboard communications are accurately routed to the appropriate corporate personnel.
- Utilize a computerized system for effective tracking and information gathering.
- Complete mitigation requests through contact database software and/or email to create a CCU lead and assign it to the relevant franchise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in call center customer service is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with contact database software (e.g., RESPOND 365, Xactanalysis, Symbility).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
Work Environment:
This position is fully remote.
