Position Summary
We are looking for detail-oriented and customer-centric Claims Resolution Specialists. The successful candidates will engage with clients via phone, guiding them through their claims process to achieve optimal outcomes. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of claims, prioritizing urgent cases, and providing comprehensive service to all parties involved in the claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders and claimants through timely responses to inquiries.
  • Collect essential information to initiate claims and clarify policy details, coverage, and the claims process.
  • Oversee a portfolio of claims, setting initial reserves for potential exposures and adjusting as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the property damage team on related claims.
  • Identify recovery opportunities concerning subrogation and salvage, including total loss scenarios.
  • Ensure adherence to state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants, insured parties, and legal representatives within authorized limits.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of claims guidelines, best practices, and process enhancements.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of claims and guide external service providers to facilitate prompt resolutions while keeping clients informed.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on claims statutes, recent court decisions, and internal policy changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, though candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • A minimum of 3 years of focused experience in transportation claims adjusting, ideally encompassing:
    • Third-party property damage
    • Third-party bodily injury, including severe cases
    • Uninsured/Underinsured motorist bodily injury
    • Litigation experience
    • Personal Injury Protection knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Possession of active adjuster licenses, with a commitment to obtain any additional required licenses promptly.
  • Familiarity with state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for claims-related needs.
