About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Consultant to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Sales Account Consultant, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our franchisees and licensees to understand their needs and provide guidance on food sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Profitability: Increase same-store food sales for our licensees/franchisees through effective sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Expand Territory: Identify and canvas new customers to expand our territory and grow sales.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Develop and maintain favorable business relationships with licensees/franchisees and store personnel by providing ongoing support and guidance to maximize food product sales.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations or demonstrations to showcase food products and persuade prospects or current customers to make a purchase.
  • Analysis and Leverage: Analyze and leverage information from technology products to grow sales and improve financial performance.
  • Account Retention: Prevent account attrition by identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Program Implementation: Inform, implement, and guide OLM Food Solutions programs, new product introductions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for franchisees/licensees and their staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and OLM Food Solutions standards.
  • Communication: Keep franchisees/licensees informed about new products, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Performance Reporting: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify, plan, and implement sales strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Compliance: Maintain and provide timely and accurate sales performance reports to the Director of Operations and other OLM Food Solutions Management.
Requirements
  • Travel Requirements: This role requires 75% travel, including overnights and air travel.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, and 2+ years of sales experience in the food industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze data and develop sales strategies, and proficiency in technology products.
