Job Overview

Position Summary:

Callisons Inc is in search of a seasoned leader in Product Development to oversee our portfolio of oral care and confectionery flavors. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in formulation science, a successful history in product innovation, and experience in team management and departmental growth. This role is integral to our operations and is based at our main office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct selection and allocation of raw materials.
  • Develop and implement formulation strategies tailored to customer needs.
  • Drive innovation in the development of new products.
  • Create or enhance existing product formulations.
  • Integrate research and concept development initiatives to uncover new product possibilities for expanding domestic and international markets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing to achieve formulation development and business goals.
  • Establish, execute, and report on metrics that demonstrate product development effectiveness.
  • Work in partnership with peer departments to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
  • Allocate resources to customer projects based on business priorities and project requirements.
  • Guide and develop junior team members.
  • Identify and implement enhancement programs that improve resource efficiency and project outcomes.

Compensation:

  • Starting salary at $120,000, dependent on experience.
