About the Role

As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for directing a team of sales professionals, communicating effectively with customers, and developing strategies to drive business growth. You will also be responsible for creating maximum impact through at-counter animations and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of sales professionals and empower them to achieve their goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and increase sales
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Manage and maintain a daily communication log to keep the team informed of events and priorities
  • Assign individual counter maintenance duties and ensure the team is meeting daily sales goals
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent for the counter
  • Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback to all levels of the counter team
  • Recognize performance issues in a timely manner and partner with the Account Executive to develop corrective action plans
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of successful in-store sales experience, as well as, managerial experience
  • Knowledge of, and ability to handle multiple projects, review and prepare event schedules, and meet critical deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and sales experience
  • Strong sales ability and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create activity and animation
  • Prior cosmetics experience required
