Caltrans Maintenance Operations Manager

The Caltrans Maintenance Area Superintendent is a critical role within the Department of Transportation, responsible for overseeing the removal of encampments and debris throughout District 4. This position requires a high level of expertise in maintenance operations, contract management, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and direct work to ensure efficient and effective encampment removal activities
- Develop and implement work plans for long-term and short-term encampment removals
- Monitor and review maintenance resources to ensure levels of service are maintained
- Collaborate with other agencies to provide assistance to the State highway maintenance program
- Ensure compliance with laws, safety rules, and environmental regulations
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Possession of a valid unrestricted Class C driver's license
- Minimum qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
