Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals within assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries and activities.
  • Understand customer needs, challenges, and objectives, and collaborate with internal teams to develop customized chemical solutions and services that address customer requirements and drive value.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospective clients, including upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to educate customers on our chemical solutions and promote the benefits and features of our products.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts in response to customer inquiries and requests, negotiating terms and pricing as needed to secure new business and renew existing contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and expansion, and provide feedback to leadership on market conditions and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities using CRM software.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, chemistry, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the chemical supply industry or related sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through strategic account management and sales initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas & pipeline industry, including knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Background in chemistry or chemical engineering preferred, with a solid understanding of chemical products and applications in the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a high level of initiative, motivation, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed within assigned territory.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Competitive base salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
