About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering care, observing patient behaviors, and reporting any changes in a timely manner.
  • Provide one-on-one sessions with assigned patients as needed, promoting a supportive and therapeutic environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and behaviors, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree in a behavioral health field is preferred.
  • At least 12 college credits or a full college degree; a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • One year of experience working with behavioral health clients; training in PEAT and the ability to safely restrain patients is required.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.
