Claims Representative

We are seeking a skilled Claims Representative to join our team at the Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our policyholders.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and evaluate multi-line insurance claims to ensure accurate settlements.
- Conduct thorough claim investigations, including interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
- Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to determine the extent of liability.
- Inspect property and auto damages and write repair estimates.
- Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants.
- Use claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust losses in a paperless environment.
- Provide superior and professional customer service to policyholders and agents.
- Availability and communicativeness during regular business hours.
- Desire to learn about the insurance industry and provide a great customer experience.
- Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with policyholders and agents.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Preparedness to follow up with others in a timely manner.
- A valid driver's license.
- One or more years of claims handling experience.
- AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 annually.
- Annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
- Company car and use of company stock options, including Restricted Share Units and Incentive-based stock options.
- Paid time off (PTO) and 401K with 6% company match.
