Admission to the Maryland Bar is required, while DC & VA Bar admission or eligibility is advantageous but not mandatory.

Godwin Tirocchi LLC, located in Ellicott City, Maryland, is comprised of a dynamic group of attorneys focused on an expanding defense practice. We represent clients at both state and federal levels across Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Our trial attorneys are well-versed in handling jury trials, administrative hearings, and appellate proceedings. We prioritize a balanced approach to defending claims, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, court appearances, depositions, and trials;
  • Draft and prepare legal pleadings and motions on behalf of clients;
  • Provide legal advice on matters related to insurance defense and workers' compensation law;
  • Engage in mediations and negotiate settlements for legal issues;
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and participate in promotional events for the firm.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in litigation or a related field;
  • Licensed to practice law in Maryland, preferably also in the District of Columbia & Virginia;
  • Experience in handling workers' compensation hearings and/or District Court trials;
  • Proficient in drafting trial pleadings and managing written discovery;
  • Experience in taking and defending depositions;
  • Strong analytical abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
