Job Title: Access Control Technician

Job Summary:

Anistar Technologies is seeking a skilled Security (Access Control) Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with IP-based systems and be able to lead teams or a crew in the installation and implementation of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test access control, intrusion alarm, and closed circuit television systems.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment and devices associated with security systems.
  • Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality and usability.
  • Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Read and understand technical documents, drawings, and prints to install equipment correctly.
  • Terminate equipment and field devices while verifying operation from the field to the reporting systems.
  • Lead team and delegate tasks as needed, demonstrating proper techniques.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
  • Must have good communication skills and the ability to think on their feet.
  • Must have experience with IP-based systems.
  • State alarm license preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Software House, S2, and Avigilon a plus.
