We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team at WIKA USA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying Strain Gages and wiring for Force, Pressure, and Electronics assemblies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Apply Strain Gages to ensure accurate measurements
- Wire Wheatstone bridges for precise signal transmission
- Conduct Epoxy operations to secure components
- Assess and repair Strain Gage and Wiring as needed to maintain quality
- Perform Microscope soldering for precise connections
- Read bridge parameters to ensure accurate data
- Complete PCB Amplifier Assembly for efficient signal processing
- Operate Strain Gage oven to ensure precise temperature control
- Manufacture cable assemblies for reliable connections
- Conduct light mechanical assembly to ensure precise component placement
- Ensure quality control and make necessary adjustments to maintain high standards
- Operate within SOPs and WIs to ensure compliance
- Complete production logs to track progress
- Inspect production equipment and tools daily to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate with operators from other shifts to ensure seamless collaboration
- Maintain a clean work area (5S) to promote efficiency
- Assemble products to required configuration to meet customer needs
- Execute other assigned duties as required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing concepts beneficial
- Computer literacy desired
