Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

Role SummaryThe Litigation Paralegal will be instrumental in managing and supporting personal injury cases throughout all stages of litigation. This role is fully remote but requires the flexibility to travel during court proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess litigation experience, the ability to manage extensive and intricate caseloads, and exceptional time-management abilities. Experience in personal injury law and proficiency in Spanish are preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Case Oversight: Oversee and manage personal injury litigation cases from initiation to resolution.
- Document Drafting: Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas.
- Client Liaison: Act as a primary contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries regarding their cases.
- Trial Assistance: Support attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders. Travel to trial locations as necessary.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research and compile relevant case information to assist attorneys.
- Calendar Coordination: Maintain and update case calendars, including deadlines, court dates, and appointments.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with attorneys and fellow paralegals to ensure effective case management.
- Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as managing case files, scheduling meetings, and communicating with court personnel.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Time Management: Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with legal research and case management software.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
