Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and driven Litigation Associate Attorney to enhance our vibrant team in the Denver Office. The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of litigation experience, ideally acquired at a reputable law firm. A judicial clerkship is considered advantageous. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for professional advancement and the chance to engage with a diverse array of challenging and high-stakes cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform legal research and analysis to support litigation activities.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist in all facets of discovery, encompassing document production, depositions, and witness interviews.
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to formulate case strategies and approaches.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing regular updates on case progress.
- Manage multiple cases concurrently while effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Stay informed about legal developments and changes in case law pertinent to assigned matters.
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably with a respected law firm.
- Strong skills in legal research and writing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Prior experience with case management software is a plus.
