About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Substation Engineering Director to join our team at HDR. As a key member of our Power Delivery group, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of our projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and 7 years of related experience, including 2 years of project management experience. A Master's degree and PMP certification are also highly desirable.

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

You will be working as part of a dynamic team to:

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex power delivery projects.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leaders to identify and develop specific technical expertise.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to showcase HDR's technical capabilities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
