About the Role

Holland & Knight LLP is seeking a highly skilled Practice Technology Specialist to join our Knowledge & Innovation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in overseeing the firm's legal technology portfolio, ensuring seamless integration and effective utilization of our technology tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the firm's legal technology portfolio, including extranets, document automation, process automation, enterprise search, drafting tools, and deal rooms.
  • Perform application administration duties for legal tools and collaborate with teams implementing new tools.
  • Work closely with the Practice Acceleration Team, practice groups, Information Technology, training and development, and other internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in legal technology work and knowledge management projects of diverse scope.
  • Assist with special projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to effectively serve a diverse customer base.

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of information technology experience.
  • Experience communicating and working with geographically diverse and virtual teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in learning new applications.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate deadlines, and track the progress of tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, across the firm.
  • Confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

  • Minimum of 3 years of legal industry and legal technology experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
  • Capable of traveling for business when necessary.
