Position Overview
Novant Health is actively seeking a dedicated Part-time Practical Nursing Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Primary Care South End clinic.

Role Summary
The Practical Nursing Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to designated patients under the guidance and oversight of a Registered Nurse. Our facilities are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services, addressing both routine and intricate medical conditions while offering extensive support resources alongside treatment options.

Qualifications for Practical Nursing Specialist:

Educational Background:
High School Diploma or GED is mandatory. Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing Program is essential.

Professional Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience is required.

Licensure/Certification:
A valid state LPN license is a prerequisite.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse:
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required.

If your RN license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, and you have not been licensed in another state during that time, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is necessary prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.

To maintain current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.


Professional Experience:
At least one year of experience in a medical practice setting is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
A current RN license in the appropriate state is required.
