Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our cutting-edge SaaS solutions. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and closing deals.

Responsibilities and Goals
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and target accounts.
    • Utilize various channels (including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media) to generate leads.
    • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize them for further engagement.
  • Sales Development:
    • Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, business needs, and challenges.
    • Articulate the value proposition of our SaaS solutions and tailor your approach to each prospect.
    • Schedule product demos and discovery calls to showcase our offerings.
    • Learn and follow our SaaS Sales Process.
  • Deal Closing:
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to create customized proposals and presentations.
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals successfully.
    • Achieve assigned quota.
  • Hunting Mentality:

Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably in software or technology.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation abilities.
    • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
    • Competency in computer skills and software (e.g. MS Office).
    • Attention to detail / organized approach to work. Able to manage multiple priorities and open issues with demanding timelines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Other Work Requirements
  • Successful completion of Spacelabs training required.
  • Must become fully competent in the application and operation of all assigned products and systems.
  • May be required to register with a vendor credentialing service. As part of this process, may be required to submit personal information to a credentialing service company, to provide proof of vaccinations or related medical information, and to comply with other requirements needed to be able to work at customer site. May be required to complete US federal background check and requirements for access to US government facilities and/or government IT networks; terms of federal contracts require US citizenship - dual citizenship is prohibited.
