Operations Manager

HelloFresh is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team in Newark, NJ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to production and fulfillment teams to optimize productivity and promote growth.
  • Map out and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance day-to-day operations in a hyper-growth environment.
  • Manage dynamic teams to assess daily operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, GMP, SQF, and food safety regulations while meeting operational goals.
  • Coordinate product flow to drive efficient processes and improve inventory management.
  • Drive a customer-first environment focused on delivering high-quality products to our customers.
  • Analyze shift performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize operations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of operations management experience in manufacturing or production.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proven success in managing employees in a hyper-growth organization.
  • Comprehensive background in production, assembly, pick/pack, shipping, and receiving.
  • Inventory control management experience with a background in building/improving warehouse management or inventory tracking systems.
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing advocate with efficient people and project management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
