We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing crisis intervention and support services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emotional support and crisis intervention to individuals in a residential setting
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans to promote recovery and well-being
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Monitor and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness or special populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in crisis situations
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
