Role Description

The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking highly motivated professionals to fill a key role in our Behavioral Health Team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to clients in need of mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to clients with mental health conditions, including those with co-occurring disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, provide individual and group therapy sessions, and facilitate support groups.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Current LPN or RN licensure in Tennessee.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, A&D, and co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Experience working with special populations, including individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and dual diagnosis disorders preferred.
  • Computer experience in a healthcare setting required.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a variety of settings, including clinics, community-based programs, and residential facilities.
  • Exposure to biological hazards.
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones as well as close eye work.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.; Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
