The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crisis intervention team, you will provide emotional support and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health crises. Your expertise and empathy will help individuals navigate challenging situations and work towards recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals in crisis
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor individuals in a residential setting and provide assistance as needed
- Respond to flags, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner
- Complete documentation in compliance with CARF and funder standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness or special populations
- Computer experience and ability to learn EMR
- Valid driver's license with F endorsement
