Key Role in Travel Assistance Services

The Global Account Manager position is essential for the success of AIG's Global Travel Assistance and No Additional Charge (NAC) services. This role encompasses account management and operational oversight for both new and existing global clients. You will work in partnership with the global client and various internal AIG teams to execute the client's growth initiatives. This collaboration includes close interaction with the Vice President of Travel Assistance Sales, Business Development Managers, Global Accounts team, and Executive Leadership at AIG to drive business expansion through product and geographical diversification.

Your Impact on the Organization

  • Formulate and execute innovative strategies aimed at client growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with risk management teams and oversee the allocation of funds to NAC client captive insurance entities.
  • Build and maintain a robust relationship with the global client, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure the ongoing development and management of program operations, including data integration, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
  • Align client agreements with AIG's operational capabilities and secure internal support to achieve strategic objectives across claims, finance, underwriting, and IT.
  • Work alongside the VP of Travel Assistance and Business Development Managers to stay updated on market trends and proactively address challenges to maintain competitiveness.
  • Identify the specific needs of the global client, recognize key decision-makers, and customize approaches to fit the account's internal processes.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support AIG and achieve account growth and strategic objectives.

Qualifications for Success

  • Experience in the No Additional Charge Benefit Industry is highly beneficial.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills are crucial.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare financial documents related to account performance.
  • Expertise in analyzing account data and crafting compelling narratives based on that data; data modeling skills are a plus.
  • Competence in assessing market and industry trends, identifying potential growth areas.
  • Skilled in negotiation, expectation management, and fulfilling commitments.
  • Adept at developing professional materials and delivering presentations to executives and key stakeholders, both virtually and in person.
