Key Role in Travel Assistance

The Global Account Manager position is essential for the success of AIG's Global Travel Assistance and No Additional Charge (NAC) sectors. This role encompasses managing accounts and operations for both new and growing international clients. You will work in tandem with global clients and various internal AIG departments to execute the client's expansion strategy. This includes close collaboration with the Vice President of Travel Assistance Sales, Business Development Managers, the Global Accounts team, and AIG's Executive Leadership to drive client business growth through product and geographical expansion.

Your Impact

  • Formulate and execute innovative strategies to foster growth and retention of existing clients.
  • Engage with risk managers and captive management teams, overseeing the entire process for funds allocated to NAC client captive insurance entities.
  • Build and maintain a robust relationship with global clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and source of innovation.
  • Ensure ongoing development and management of program operations, including data integration, invoicing, and financial reconciliations.
  • Align client agreements with AIG's operational capabilities, securing support from internal departments to guarantee successful strategy execution, including claims, finance, underwriting, and IT.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Travel Assistance, Business Development Manager, and Account Development Managers to stay abreast of market trends and anticipate challenges, ensuring competitiveness in complex environments.
  • Identify the unique requirements of global clients, pinpoint key decision-makers, and customize approaches to align with the account's internal processes.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support AIG and achieve account growth targets and strategic objectives.

Qualifications for Success

  • Experience in the No Additional Charge Benefit Industry is highly beneficial.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities are crucial.
  • Proven track record of operational success.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare financial documents related to account performance and objectives.
  • Proficiency in analyzing account data and crafting compelling narratives based on that data; data modeling skills are a plus.
  • Competence in analyzing market and industry trends, identifying potential growth areas.
  • Skilled in negotiation, expectation management, and fulfilling commitments.
  • Able to create professional materials and deliver presentations to executives and key stakeholders, both internally and externally, in a polished manner, including presentations via telecommunications and in person.
