Key Role in Travel Assistance
The Global Account Manager position is essential for the success of AIG's Global Travel Assistance and No Additional Charge (NAC) initiatives. This role focuses on managing accounts and operations for both new and existing global clients. You will work in partnership with the global client and various internal AIG teams to execute the client's growth strategies. This collaboration will involve close interaction with the Vice President of Travel Assistance Sales, Business Development Managers, the Global Accounts team, and AIG's Executive Leadership to drive client business expansion through product and geographical growth.
Your Impact
- Formulate and execute innovative strategies aimed at client growth and retention.
- Collaborate with risk management teams and oversee the allocation of funds for NAC client captive insurance companies.
- Build and maintain a robust relationship with the global client, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Ensure the ongoing development and management of program operations, including data integration, invoicing, and financial reconciliations.
- Align client agreements with AIG's operational capabilities and secure internal support to achieve strategic objectives across claims, finance, underwriting, and IT.
- Work alongside the VP of Travel Assistance and other managers to stay updated on market trends and proactively address challenges to maintain competitiveness.
- Identify the unique requirements of the global client, recognize key decision-makers, and customize approaches to fit the account's internal processes.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support AIG's objectives and account growth targets.
Qualifications for Success
- Experience in the No Additional Charge Benefit Industry is highly beneficial.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities are critical.
- Proven track record of operational success.
- Ability to analyze and prepare financial documents related to account performance.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to create compelling narratives from data; data modeling skills are a plus.
- Competence in assessing market and industry trends, identifying potential growth areas.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to set expectations and fulfill commitments.
- Ability to develop professional materials and deliver presentations to executives and key stakeholders in a polished manner, both virtually and in person.
