Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee the Los Angeles area. This role is pivotal in generating new business opportunities while enhancing relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work autonomously to achieve sales growth within the designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the representative for ITW Food Equipment Group brands within the assigned territory.
- Identify and analyze competitive challenges, market trends, and business prospects to meet or exceed sales and profitability objectives.
- Develop and nurture robust customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers.
- Employ value-added selling techniques while executing market strategies and negotiating effectively to secure business.
- Collaborate with the current Sales Manager and Independent Representative Group to drive sales growth.
- Engage cross-functionally with FEG product lines to implement and achieve annual goals, including coordination with installation teams and service contractors.
- Utilize CRM systems to identify and drive transactional and project opportunities.
- Prepare and present business reviews to senior management and select dealers.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all FEG product lines relevant to industry demands.
- Exhibit expertise in specifications and applications of all FEG equipment.
- Manage and negotiate competitive bid projects with various distribution partners.
- Plan and conduct regional training sessions on all product lines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures in all activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven sales track record, preferably in the food equipment sector, with experience working directly with dealers and end users.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, complemented by professional presentation abilities.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Information:
ITW is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any characteristic protected by law. The salary range for this position is between $105,000 and $130,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
