At PagerDuty, we empower teams to drive business forward through our Operations Cloud. We're looking for an experienced Public Sector Account Executive to focus on Central Government sales with a proven track record in SaaS solutions.

About the Role

This is a dynamic sales opportunity where you will report directly to a Regional Sales Director. As a sales champion, you will need to excel in a technology-driven environment while possessing a consultative approach to driving sales growth and captivating a tech-savvy audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Value Selling: Highlight the unique value and benefits of PagerDuty's products and services to customers, going beyond features and price to emphasize strategic business outcomes that address customer needs and challenges.
  • Sales Effectiveness: Establish genuine connections with customers, negotiate positive business outcomes, manage complex sales cycles, and build consistent relationships with senior-level executives to garner interest and support for new initiatives.
  • Sales Execution: Ensure accurate work and information, prepare for meetings and presentations, follow up with others to ensure agreements and commitments are fulfilled, plan territory assignments, prioritize account targets, and leverage marketing programs to develop new logo opportunities.
Requirements

We're seeking a candidate with 5-8 years of software sales/SaaS sales experience acquiring new accounts and expanding into new areas of existing accounts, as well as 3+ years of Account Management experience with Public Sector customers.
