A key responsibility will be to spearhead technological advancements in the 911 emergency communications sector by developing and launching new cloud-based solutions that deliver exceptional value to our customers through enhanced automation and analytical features. This role is crucial to our comprehensive Cloud solution vision for Public Safety and Justice, covering the entire Incident, Policing, and Justice lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be driven by a desire to contribute to life-saving initiatives and promote equitable justice by joining our team in delivering digital transformation for our clients.

How will you contribute?

  • Foster innovation and disruption within the Public Safety & Justice sector.
  • Formulate the product strategy and vision in alignment with the broader division and business strategy, informed by market analysis.
  • Collect, analyze, and prioritize market challenges, features, and product requirements from diverse stakeholders (e.g., clients, partners, R&D, sales, services, competitors, analysts, regulations), balancing immediate needs with long-term objectives.
  • Oversee product strategy, evolution planning, and detailed product roadmaps focused on cloud-based Evidencentral solutions for law enforcement and justice organizations.
  • Drive initiatives across the organization to successfully launch products.
  • Plan and execute product launches effectively.
  • Manage product profitability and ensure commercial success.
  • Provide stakeholders with insights regarding the product and market dynamics.
  • Assist product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messaging.
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations and achieve targeted satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, presales, sales, partners, and clients to drive business growth, maintain product knowledge, and ensure effective communication.
  • Maintain a cooperative approach across the Public Safety and Justice portfolio.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product releases.
  • Manage partner engagements, including build/buy assessments, pricing strategies, technical integration specifics, and ongoing roadmap planning.

Do you have the necessary qualifications?

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or marketing, preferably in the Public Safety or Customer Experience sectors, with a focus on leading cloud solutions and significant interaction with customers, engineering, support, and marketing teams.
  • A solid understanding of web technologies or cloud platform architecture and deployment dependencies.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills to address internal and external competing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, from executive management to individual contributors.
  • Capacity to adapt with resilience and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to comprehend technical information well enough to convey it in original written communications to various audiences, including engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in engaging with technical resources and actively listening to understand their insights, asking relevant questions when necessary.
  • A strong grasp of the DevOps cycle and the tools utilized.
  • Quick learning ability with a commitment to self-education on relevant technologies.
  • Understanding of business processes and project costs related to licensing and third-party product maintenance.
