This position is integral to the Enrollment Division and its associated departments, focusing on the development of compelling marketing and communication materials.

  • Contribute to the Enrollment team by crafting visually appealing marketing assets that effectively communicate our message.
  • Work in partnership with Communications teams to ensure the brand is consistently represented across all Enrollment-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with creative professionals, including photographers and videographers, to enhance various campaigns and projects.
  • Demonstrate advanced design capabilities and apply design principles to embody the values of the Commonwealth and engage prospective students.
  • Maintain adherence to established design standards while actively participating in the creative process.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions, project discussions, and design evaluations to ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors for creative projects undertaken by the Enrollment Division.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contemporary design trends and digital marketing strategies, effectively implementing them across diverse platforms. Expertise in layout, typography, color theory, and visual asset application is essential. Experience in creating marketing materials that align with a defined brand identity is required.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A strong passion for current design and digital trends, with the ability to execute marketing strategies across various platforms.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of meeting deadlines, open to constructive feedback, and skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Innovative thinker with extensive knowledge of design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficient in page layout, typography, color theory, and effective asset utilization.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the creative process from concept development to final production.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in multimedia design and familiarity with Content Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of animation techniques using Adobe After Effects.
  • Skills in user experience and interface design.
  • Background in brand development within highly structured environments.
  • Experience engaging with students for the development of creative content.

Required Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in graphic and conceptual design.
  • A proven history of creating digital and print marketing materials that adhere to brand guidelines.
