Data Science Specialist

Job Overview

Harnham is partnering with a leader in the consultancy space for sports analytics to expand their Analytics Team by hiring a Data Science Specialist in an onsite capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize a mixture of first- and third-party data sources to clean, visualize, and communicate actionable insights to drive success.
  • Analyze customer decisions and usage data to drive tactical and strategic decisions focused on product and other analytical factors.
  • Work cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders to promote a successful environment for consumer usage of SaaS-based products.
  • Engage in A/B testing to enhance optimization efforts for the product function within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth experience utilizing Python & SQL and a best-of-breed visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker in a commercial capacity.
  • Strong background in statistical or advanced analytics.
  • Strong communication skills in a cross-functional environment to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
