Experienced Audio Visual Specialist

At Crutchfield, we're dedicated to helping our employees succeed while delivering exceptional service to our customers. We're seeking an experienced A/V Technician to join our Charlottesville Retail Store team.
As an A/V Technician, you'll be responsible for installing and configuring audio visual equipment in homes and commercial settings. Your technical expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients enjoy a seamless and immersive audiovisual experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure audiovisual equipment, including televisions, projectors, sound systems, and smart home automation systems.
- Perform cable management, routing, and concealment for a clean and professional appearance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with A/V systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific installation needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of their audiovisual systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Proven experience as an A/V Technician in residential and commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment, cabling, and system integration.
- Familiarity with home automation systems (e.g., Control4, Crestron) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- CEDIA CIT certification is a plus.
Salary and Benefits:
- Hours are generally Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM.
- This full-time position starts at $18.00/hour plus a competitive bonus program.
