As a Project Engineering Specialist at Epco Corp, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our gas and liquid assets, including pipelines, compressor stations, and processing facilities. Your expertise will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our midstream energy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and engage in critical processes such as Management of Change (MOC), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs), and Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) studies to ensure operational safety and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and assist in optimization initiatives.
- Plan, organize, and execute capital and expense projects, typically under $10 million.
- Develop scopes of work to support commercial projects, operational needs, and integrity enhancements.
- Ensure project designs adhere to company engineering standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements, while meeting functionality and performance criteria.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and project schedules.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding project progress.
- Prepare and review bid packages for equipment and external services, including consulting engineering and construction activities.
- Collaborate with Enterprise subject matter experts and participate in design reviews from external engineering contractors and vendors.
- Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are integrated into project plans.
- Monitor field construction activities to confirm compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to safely commission new facilities.
- Ensure proper documentation of project activities.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and contribute to optimization efforts.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for Chemical or Mechanical disciplines.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector is essential, with direct experience in midstream assets and projects preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Project for developing cost estimates and schedules is required.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% is necessary.
- Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
