DaVita Inc. - Patient Care Technician

DaVita Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform technician duties, such as measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
Requirements:
  • Ability to work a full-time variable schedule with rotating Saturday shifts
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to mix acid or bicarb
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
