Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to provide direct patient care for individuals or groups of adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patients in our inpatient psychiatric unit or partial hospital/intensive outpatient program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including participating in various psychotherapy groups and assisting in maintaining patient and unit safety and security.
  • Act as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Assist in the performance of various treatment procedures, including administering medications and conducting assessments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field.
  • One year of experience in the Human Services field, preferably in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
