We are seeking a skilled Central Sterilization Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing a variety of sterilization processing functions, including manual and automated decontamination procedures. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient preparation of sterile instruments and equipment for use in the Operating Room, Gastroenterology, WIC, Emergency Department, and other departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, process, and reassemble instruments for sterilization
Safely operate all steam, Sterrad, and EtO sterilizers
Effectively utilize cart washer and other equipment
Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Central Sterilization Technician or ability to obtain within six months of hire
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
