Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supply chain relationships, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate records in a GDP and GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with foreign suppliers for the import of radioactive isotopes.
  • Coordinate isotope ordering, import clearance, and final delivery to our facility.
  • Manage relationships with couriers for inbound and outbound shipments of material.
  • Coordinate delivery of finished radiopharmaceutical products to clinics and end-users.
  • Facilitate final orders of radiopharmaceutical products by CDMO customers via email and/or our online ordering portal.
  • Prepare and maintain transportation documents for inbound and outbound shipments, including hazardous declarations.
  • Maintain accurate records of clinical site information using Excel spreadsheets and our ordering portal.
  • Track shipment statuses and communicate updates with end-users and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and radiation safety ALARA practices.
  • Assist internal teams with final packaging of radioactive hazardous material.
  • Contribute to general procurement activities for non-radioactive materials.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in a GDP and GMP environment.
  • Participate in miscellaneous projects and department meetings by providing input, feedback, and execution of assigned tasks.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
  • Review data on current inventory levels to identify shortages or overages.
  • Ensure inventory is correctly stocked and labeled, protecting the integrity of sterile products.
  • Review and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Supply Chain related functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals preferred.
  • DOT and IATA Hazardous Material Certifications strongly desired.
  • On-site daily presence in our Springfield, NJ facility required.
  • Customs Compliance and International Trade Regulation knowledge strongly desired.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in a simple manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise judgment during logistics processes.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite and experienced in electronic record-keeping environments.
  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
