About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of medium and large capital infrastructure projects for our wastewater facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with operations personnel and manage project activities utilizing a cross-functional team approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage water/wastewater projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery in accordance with project plans and success criteria.
  • Develop technical, bidding, and contractual documents, and negotiate agreements with supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise Technical and Environmental Health and Safety/Security standards.
  • Manage environmental and governmental permitting, and provide project oversight to ensure timely completion and budget compliance.
  • Drive efficiency into project delivery through monitoring of delivery metrics and utilization of alternate procurement and delivery methods.
  • Provide monthly reports to management on project status and issues affecting performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing water/wastewater design and construction projects.
  • Experience with environmental regulatory framework and permitting approvals preferred.
