Position: Security Officer
Type: Per Diem/Contingent Varied Shifts
Job Overview: The Security Officer at St. Mary's Health System plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure atmosphere for all employees, patients, and visitors. This position involves various responsibilities aimed at maintaining safety and providing assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct escort duties and provide valet parking services.
- Assist patients, visitors, or residents who may be lost or confused.
- Offer special services to staff and visitors, including jump starts and lock-out assistance.
- Perform thorough patrols both inside and outside the facility.
- Report any safety, risk, or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Identify and respond appropriately to any security breaches.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year in a security role is preferred.
Licenses: A valid Driver's License is required.

- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
