Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Substance Use Disorder Professional II to provide direct counseling services to patients at our Behavioral Health Clinic in Lynnwood, WA.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a Substance Use Disorder Professional license from the Department of Health. They will be responsible for performing assessments, evaluations, and intakes, and providing services to adults, youth, and their families.

The position requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively before clients or employees of the organization. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the disease concept of chemical dependency and the importance of total abstinence for ongoing recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling services to patients
  • Perform assessments, evaluations, and intakes
  • Provide services to adults, youth, and their families
  • Write routine reports and correspondence
  • Speak effectively before clients or employees of the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
